The University of Maryland is currently in a complicated legal battle with the ACC, arguing that their sudden increase in the conference exit fee is unreasonable. The Terps anticipated paying an approximately 21 million dollar fee, but are now being asked to pay more than double that number. This fee stands out from all other exit fees in recent years.
