The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) has secretly lobbied for the adoption of its corporate-backed bills and tracked them for years. The official ALEC twitter account even tweeted publicly at the Brookings Institute: "@BrookingInst, we don't track our model policies." However, looking at the data from ALEC's legislative scorecards (graph), it's clear that ALEC definitely tracks its "model" bills.
