Death, like taxes, is unavoidable. More likely than not, unfortunately, when our time comes, it will likely be at the hands of one of these causes. The top ten causes of death account for 74 percent of all registered deaths, according to the CDC. Of that 74 percent, heart disease and cancer stand as the two leading causes accounting for about 1.2 million deaths in 2013.
