A 16-gigabyte iPad with retina display sells for $620 less in Malaysia than in Argentina. Theoretically, price differences between countries are not sustainable because consumers and businesses will shop overseas for cheaper products. However, many factors including import restrictions, shipping costs and taxes allow some merchants to keep their prices high.
