Fast-food workers in 60 U.S. cities recently held a one-day strike to call for a $15 an hour minimum wage, a 107% increase over the current $7.25 minimum wage. Some estimates indicate that increasing the minimum wage by this amount would increase the price of a Big Mac by $1.28, from $3.99 to $5.27.
