This chart is a follow up of my previous post: "Almost 42 percent of Americans did not take vacation in 2014". The chart shows that American women were more overworked in 2014 in terms of using allotted vacation time. The survey done by Skift.com consist of 1500 respondents. 306 of the respondents reported not taking any vacation days in 2014, of this 306, 34.2% of the respondents were men and 39.6% were women. All in all, the chart shows that women used less vacation days than men in America for the year 2014.
The demands on women to also be the heads of households has been shown to be a major impediment on women's abilities to move up in companies, and in this case, also the lack of time they have for themselves between work and the home.
