At first glance, unbundling cable TV seems like a great idea. Only pay for the channels you want to watch, and save money as a result. The reality of that situation, however, is much less ideal. The unbundling process would likely lead to a drastic reduction in content, with only a small fraction of the channels earning enough revenue to survive the unbundling process.
