In the majority of sexual harassment cases (53%), it is determined that there is no reasonable cause to believe that there was discrimination. When this happens, the charging party can bring private court action. 21% of cases close due to administrative reasons, including failure to contact the charging party, or having related litigation render the charge null and void.
