Minimum wage has been a growing concern in America. Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti recently announced his plans to raise the minimum wage to $13.25 an hour. Statistics show an overwhelming majority of Angelenos are in favor of his proposal. The federal minimum wage is currently $7.25 and each state can set its own minimum as long as its above the federal standard.
