In a recent Gallup poll, 45% of Americans said they actively include organic foods in their diets. This puts organic foods near the middle of a list of 12 other foods included in the survey, "trailing fruits and vegetables by a wide margin, but well ahead of fat, soda, and sugar."
Why do 15% of Americans actively avoid organic foods? Does it have to do with expenses? I avoid them when my wallet is a little light, but other than that I don't see why avoiding them makes sense.
Combination of avoiding the expensive aisles of the store and probably some who avoid anything that has the taint of what they perceive as a liberal concept/product.

Any ideas anyone?
