All across the Muslim world, there is a strong current of popular opposition to the Assad administration. There is also, however, marked disapproval of any involvement in Syria, by either Western or Arab powers. Israel is in agreement with its Muslim neighbors that Assad must stand down, though split on questions surrounding military involvement.
