Between 2009 and 2013, 35 percent of women's job gains have been in low-wage sectors -- like retail, fast food and housekeeping -- while just 18 percent of men's jobs gains were in those fields. Today, women make up 76 percent of the low-wage workforce, but only 47 percent of the workforce overall.
