In a recent survey conducted by internships.com, it was found that over half of employers in 2014 are disposed to hiring more interns than they were in 2013. Even more plan to improve upon their existing programs.
Hopefully this is leads to an increase in employment as well. All too often organizations take on more interns so that they can lay off full-time employees, and then bring on unpaid interns to pick up the slack.
