While 7 of the top 10 are college football stadiums, only one NFL stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys made the list. The largest stadium in the US is nicknamed "the Big House" and home to the Michigan Wolverines. The stadium set a modern-era college football attendance record on September 7th, 2013 with 115,109 spectators.
I find it so amusing that universities have such grand stadiums. Don't forget about NASCAR tracks like Indianapolis Motor Speedway (250k) or Bristol (160k)!
I'm surprised no soccer stadiums make the list. And good point about the nascar tracks. Not typical stadiums, but basically the same thing. I wonder what that means for horse tracks too.
