I honestly don't believe this is an issue of discrimination, as any individual in right-to-work states have the ability to become a union member. The laws pertain generally to those individuals who are not and do not want to become union members, by giving them an option rather than compelling them into membership.
According to a Gallup poll, respondents favor Right-to-Work laws by at least a 2-to-1 margin, regardless of political affiliation.
Unfortunate that discrimination against union workers wasn't phased out with the Gilded Age, though bottom lines will be bottom lines.
