The general trend has been positive for women, with more females graduating with engineering degrees every decade. However, in this ten year time frame, men's undergraduate enrollment grew significantly faster than women's. Less than 3,000 more women enrolled in engineering programs in 2011 than in 2001, while over 10,000 more men did for the same years.
