There are almost 25 times the number of stay-at-home moms as stay-at-home dads in the U.S. Why is this? This gender gap raises many questions, such as, are there economic reasons why more dads continue to work and does this imply that dads are generally in careers where they make more than their spouses? Also, are there societal norms that make being a stay-at-home dad somehow "less acceptable?"
