We're accustomed to thinking of slavery as a problem of the past, but it truly isn't. Millions of people worldwide are still enslaved for purposes such as labor or sex, with a particularly severe problem in India. This Gallup poll targets the countries that are considered "high-risk" for modern slavery, although human trafficking occurs in developed countries such as the U.S. too.
