Americans believe there is nothing more dangerous to do while driving than text. Even driving after at least two drinks comes just short of taking the top spot on this list.
This is really surprising to me. I thought that more than two drinks would easily be #1. If so, should we have stricter texting while driving laws? Like a DUI, but for texting?
We should definitely punish texting while driving, but keep in mind this chart isn't how dangerous these things are. It's how dangerous we think they are.
What are the actuals on auto accidents caused by each?
