The NFL's competition committee came up with points of emphasis over the offseason. Through week 6, defensive holding penalties were up 138 vs. 63 and illegal contact penalties were up 63 vs. 16 compared to last year. 15 touchdowns have been called back already. Have you noticed the increase in flags this season? Is it too much?

Sounds like the NFL has been taking lessons from MLB in how to make their game more boring.

they're making the NFL more fan friendly...more penalties = better for offense = more points = more excitement = more fans = more money!

You can do that by adding defensive penalties or reducing offensive penalties. NFL=no fun league. But I'm just a hater.
