How is favorite different from like?
When you favorite a chart SavvyRoo keeps that chart in your profile. So you have a permanent archive of your most valuable charts.
How do I know if the chart is valid?
This is a question so important it got its own page.
What stops people from making up fake data?
The short answer is nothing. Anyone can post bad data (just like any politician or lobbyist or media outlet can). This is why the source links in every post are so important. So it is up to all of us to question what we see.
We hope that the structure – the clear chart, the obvious sources – will make it easier for us users to fact check and harder for manipulative posters to get away with false data.
Plus, take a look at our validity page for even more info on this topic.
Who is allowed to create a chart?
Anyone. All you need is an account. And we hope you will join the other posters out there. We’d love to see you make your case.
Can charts found on SavvyRoo be posted elsewhere?
Yes. Under the SavvyRoo Terms of Service, all users grant a license for others to use the information they post. From the Terms of Service: "You also hereby grant each user of the Service a non-exclusive license to access your Content through the Service, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display and perform such Content as permitted through the functionality of the Service and under these Terms of Service."
