A team of researchers purposed a question to Ivy League college students asking if they considered it cheating to use a prescribed stimulant when they did not have an attention deficit disorder. Eighteen percent of these students reported using a stimulant for academic purposes at least once. Forty-one percent of students believed that misusing the stimulants was cheating.
