The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Russell Westbrook is out with a fractured right hand and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. After being one of the most durable players through his first 4 seasons, Westbrook has missed a lot of games the last couple years. He played all 82 games in 2012-13, but missed the playoffs with a knee injury. Complications from that knee injury forced him to miss 36 games the following season. The Thunder need Westbrook to stay healthy to compete for a championship.
