A new rule requiring corporations to report the pay difference between their CEOs and their median worker has many a modern day American aristocrat up in arms. Seeing as how the CEO-to-median ratio has soared from 20-1 to 331-1 since the mid 20th century, there is clearly much wealthy elites would rather leave swept under the rug.
