Through the poll, a general consensus was reached as to the proper etiquette of cellphone use. Pew Research found that the vast majority of Americans don't mind one using their phone while doing mindless tasks like walking down the street or waiting in line. When partaking in a personal endeavor, such as eating at a restaurant or going to worship, it is best to leave your phone in your pocket.
