Despite strict intolerance of homosexuality within Catholicism, young Catholics are surprisingly tolerant of gays. Yay #Adam&Steve
I wouldn't say that there is "strict intolerance of homosexuality" in Catholicism. The data shows that at any age group over 50% of respondents are accepting of gay marriage. That doesn't seems to shabby considering a religious group was being polled. Is there data like this on other religious groups. I think you would find that Catholicism is has one of the more liberal outlooks on the subject.
